Fix pricing issue and make it easier to contact you
Google Play shows 0.99 price and I was going to buy three copies, but after clicking the "buy" button the price jumped to 2.99 per copy. I couldn't find any explanation for the price change and then couldn't find a "contact us" page anywhere on the DragonBox. The best I could find was this forum where I can pose my question as a suggestion (which seems again like dodging customer questions), and when clicking the "Contact Support" link was the only one that didn't work (did nothing) I finally lost all confidence and decided against purchasing.
Whether it is 0.99…

worksheets with pictures
My pupils would appreciate worksheets that are more gradual in making the transition between the game and the written equations. I know there are some worksheets on this site, but they jump immediately to just using symbols. I would love to see the equation in pictures, and then along side it, the equation in symbols, so that they can simultaneously work out what they would do with the pictures, and then translate that step by step into the worksheet. Alternatively, you could have worksheets of equations in symbols that specifically match particular problems on the game, so that they could…

don't use publicity material with only white boys
I've been really enjoying playing Dragonbox Elements today, and my daughter (age 7) has now taken it over and is rapidly working through the levels. I wanted to recommend it to my friends, but when I looked at your website, the impression created on pages such as this:
http://wewanttoknow.com/algebrachallenge/
is that this is an activity for white boys. While that photo might have been taken at one of your events, please be sensitive to the role that established images of who "does maths" or is into games, maths games, etc etc plays a role in discouraging girls and black kids…

Mode which picks random type of problems
In practise mode you get to choose what kind of problems to solve. In real world you find a problem and have to figure out what kind of problem it is and which is the best logic for solving it. There should be a mode which doesn't tell you what kind of problem this is.
Also, combine this with random generation would be gold! Understandably that's a tough one to code. Good luck!

Just keep going. Exponents. Functions. Derivatives. Keep releasing versions until you run out of math. And then, gameify the great math book Rapid Math Tips And Tricks. Google it.

Include more beasts in the bonus section
We rattled through the 5 levels and then my son was keen to do the bonus levels...until he realised he was building the same creatures. Why not have 5 different creatures?

ADD INSTRUCTIONS AND RULES FOR THE GAME AND MORE ALGEBRA RELEVANCE
I bought this app with hopes I would learn algebra because I struggled with it for years, I'm 20 years old and have not graduated from high school or obtained a GED, the school system where I live gave up on trying to help me so I have been on my own since I was 16. I have tried everything from trying to learning off of YouTube, buying numerous GED text books, buying algebra text books and getting subscriptions to websites saying they will help but nothing has. My friend told me about this game and I was very excited…

1) two boxsystems, one for dragons an one for letters 2) doityourselfset for teachers to build their own equations
2) To show the connection between the game an mathematics it would be great to have two boxsystems under each other. One with "dragons" and the other with x and letters (or numbers). When you solve the dragon task the same operation should happen in the other box simultaneously. So the pupils could see the connection much
better.
2) it would be fine if teachers would be able to build equations themselves with dragons we could translate the tasks from our books to the figures of the game. It would help the pupils to se the connection between the…10 votes

1x , /1 and tap
tapping a symbol changes it to it's negative so you can cancel a thing. clicking on times or divide by 1 should also change a symbol (symbols if in a string) to it's negative so you can cancel it, ie tap the 1 and it disappears but the symbols with it become their negative alter ego.

release a version for geometry or trigonometry, or open up an API for customization
I find that this approach for algebra really speaks to my kids, much more than manipulatives. As I have gone through it with them, I found myself thinking that I'd love to see this for geometry and/or trigonometry or even math logic, like complex boolean algebra expressions. Your platform is genius. Have you ever considered opening up some as an API for people to add their own problems to?

Make a third game!
My son loved Dragon Box. He loved the next Dragon Box (now called 5+ and 12+, apparently). He is at the very end of all the practice rounds in the second game, and we are both sad to know it will end. Will you make a third game after 12+? Please? Email me and I will buy it that day! I would even preorder it!
